Heidrick Ag History Center: The Heidrick Ag History Center Agricultural Museum is located in Woodland, California, a few miles northwest of Sacramento. The museum specializes in agricultural equipment of all types but has an exhibit of classic hot rods and hosts car shows and other vehicle events.

Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum: The Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum is located in Vista, California, between Los Angeles and San Diego. The museum features a wide variety of operational gas and steam engines and some of the antique vehicle they were used in. They also have a weaving exhibit, a blacksmith shop and an n'scale model railroad display.

Murphy Auto Museum: The Murphy Auto Museum is located in Oxnard, California, just north of Los Angeles, and features a collection of over 60 vintage and classic cars. They also have one of the world's largest H/O scale train layouts and host groups for special events.

NHRA Motorsports Museum: The Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum is located in Pomona, California, just east of Los Angeles, and is all about the National Hot Rod Association. It is operated by the Automobile Club of Southern California and their mission is to preserve the history of how vehicle speed influenced the California lifestyle.

Nethercutt Collection: The Nethercutt Collection is located Sylmar, California, just north of Los Angeles, and features 0ver 250 American and foreign antique, vintage and classic cars that range from 1898 to 1997.
