Chandler History: Frederick C. Chandler left the Lozier Motor Company to start the Chandler Motor Company in 1911. His goal was to produce quality vehicles within the budget of middle-class Americans. He produced six models in 1920, ten models in 1922 and peaked when he sold 20,000 cars in 1927. However by 1928 he was over extended and the Hupp Motor Works took over, ending the Chandler brand.
