Ferrari History: Enzo Ferrari founded the Scuderia Ferrari Company in Italy in 1929 and built race cars in partnership with Fiat until about 1943. In 1947 Ferrari began building street driven cars under the Ferrari Badge but continued to run the race car division until his death in 1988 at 90 years old. As of 2007 the Fiat Group has had managing control of Ferrari vehicles.
