The Vintage Car Era followed World War I, when there was an abundance of factories, material, equipment and men in need of work. And it lasted until the Great Depression and World War II took most of it away. - More

The Classic Car Era followed World War II and flourished in the same manner as the Vintage Car Era. But it was also energized by a new consumer demand for bigger and faster cars with more 'bells and whistles'. - More

Hot Rods & Roadsters:

Hot rods came about when back-yard mechanics discovered how much fun it was to customize a discarded Model T Ford with a bigger engine. And when they removed the top it became known as a 'roadster'. - More
