Jensen-Healey Badge The Jensen Motors company of England built about ten thousand Jensen-Healeys from 1972 to 1976. Donald Healey was an automotive engineer and chairman of Jensen Motors when he decided to upgrade the Austin-Healey 3000 as a Jensen-Healey. The oil crisis of the 1970s hurt the sales of the Jensen V8 Interceptor and Jensen Motors did not have enough money to keep the Jensen-Healey in production. They closed their doors in 1976.
