1939 Graham-Paige "Spirit of Motion" Passenger Car The Graham brothers developed kits based on the Model "T" Ford to make their first trucks, and gradually developed their own chassis around Dodge engines. By 1922 the Graham Brother's Company was building trucks in their own factories and in 1925 they sold out to the Dodge Brothers Company in exchange for stock and executive positions. In 1927 the Graham brothers left dodge Dodge and bought the Paige-Detroit Motor Company, naming their first cars Graham-Paiges. They also made a few trucks under the Paige name. In 1946 the Grahams teamed with Henry Kaiser to build the Frazer, named after their company president, Joseph Frazer. After the war Frazer and Kaiser formed the Fraizer-Kaiser Corporation. However the two were constantly at odds and Frazer left in 1951. In 1952 Kaiser changed the company name to the Kaiser Motors Corporation and continued production until 1955. |
