2015 Harley-Davidson FLTRXS Fat Glide

When Harley updated the touring line up in 2014 the Road Glide wasn’t ready for release so it was not released until it was perfected in 2015. This particular example is a Road Glide Special which was upgraded with ABS Brakes, the Boom! Box 6.5GT infotainment system as well as the H-D Smart Security System with proximity based key fobs. We purchased this bike from Steel Knuckle Customs who acquired the bike in 2019 with 17,452 miles on it. They converted it into a custom dual fat tire bike with matching 18” rims front and rear as well as 180mm tires front and rear which is the reason we refer to the bike as a Fat Glide instead of a Road Glide. While customizing the bike they replaced the stock 103” engine with a new Harley-Davidson 120ST engine which produces 106 hp and 117 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheel without any modifications. It was upgraded with a Velociraptor hi-flow air intake and it sounds just plain nasty ripping through its Rhinehart true dual exhaust system. You will also appreciate the quick-release passenger backrest, the newly redesigned Dakota Digital gauges, the lowered fairing, the Dirty Bird Windshield delete, the stretched bags and rear fender as well as the L.A. Choppers 10” Hefty Twin Peaks Ape Hangers which really sets off the look of the front end. It has Burly black MX Serrated boards for the driver and passenger as well as custom mirrors, pegs, pedals, grips and shift linkage. The stereo was upgraded with a Sony XAV-AX7000 BT stereo that is XM ready and features Apple Car Play, Android Auto and sounds amazing with the Diamond amp and 2 sets of PRV 6.5” speakers. All said and done you would spend over $20,000 on the parts needed to make all these upgrades and likely close to another $5,000 in labor.
