1 family owned since new,COMPLETE running gear over haul including many, many upgrades over the years. SAFE, and RELIABLE daily driver, with a current top speed that is totally insane. ( This is a 3/4 ton truck with factory progressive leaf springs + factory origional solid ring, split rims ) Top speed is an byproduct of gearing From 488, to 373 for high way driving, plus a 4 speed overdrive, I'v had to 115mph, in "third" gear.

For those of you who are afraid of split rims, These are SOLID RING split rims!! Centrifical force does not apply to a solid ring till about 160 mph ! Top speed of this truck, " IF YOU ARE AN IDIOT " Is 140 mph., The definition of HOT ROD, Is any thing that scares you every time you put your foot to the floor.. Pucker time is any thing "OVER" 95 mph. I said i've had to 115 mph in THIRD gear, That's BEYOND full pucker. And it came quickly. The origional owner, MY UNCLE, gave this truck to me, Worn out, but still running and driving in 1988. I was 32, Now 64... this is too much truck, for my age, and health. To the "right" new care taker, I "WILL" make a deal. built to drive, Not collect dust, or mice !
