Description

1918 White Motors TAD Truck Beautiful Oak Tailboard MUSEUM PIECE!

Frame up restoration Gorgeous Oak Cab SN 58910

This is an incredible opportunity to own a great example of early 20th Century transportation excellence! White Motors produced a premium product, and specialized in the heavy truck market, making its name known in the heavy haulage space, as well as military trucks during WWI & II, competing head to head with Mack and International. White Motors was one of the largest and most respected nameplates in the trucking industry in the last century. White first produced steam cars that were highly efficient, well made and outpaced AND outperformed the Stanley Steam car line, producing over 10,000 of them before discontinuing the line in 1910.

This 1918 model TAD truck was immaculately restored and became part of the Vintage Tracks Museum many years ago. It is now available to become part of your collection. Show it at Truck Shows, Steam Engine Shows, Car Events, Parades.... it is sure to be a centerpiece of any antique truck discussion.

Make no mistake. IT. IS. BIG. It weighs in at 7,700 pounds and has a wheel base of just over 16'. It will impress even the most scrutinizing of truck connoisseurs. The truck truly belongs in a museum. Every aspect of the restoration was done with care. The art found in the cast iron parts of this truck give it an elegance few trucks of the vintage can claim.

This truck featured a 4 cylinder engine that produced 45+- horsepower, great for the time. The transmission was connected to the final drives via chain and sprocket. It has a incredibly crafted wooden cab and sideboards, cushioned seat, and a full length Oak flatbed. Finish this truck out in any configuration you desire~! Hauler, build side rails, the possibilities are endless.

The truck is currently in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Delivery is available. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions. I will return all emails promptly. Thanks for looking~!! You will NOT be disappointed with this excellent truck!!
