The adaptive equipment in this van will not inhibit an able-bodied driver in any way. Through the sliding door, you can enter and exit easily by lowering a bar. If you need to lift anything heavy, the van's lift will be very useful.

This 1982 Ford E-150 Van is a beauty and has been parked in the same heated/cooled garage for 42 years! It has been driven all these years with "kid-gloves". It has been nothing but a toy; it has never been driven in the snow, salt, or any kind of foul weather. My mechanic says it looks as clean underneath as it does on the outside. The adaptive equipment consists of a Braun reverse-swing lift, driver's 2-way power seat, and hand controls that are in PERFECT working condition as the entire conversion was built at a time when things were meant to last. The window cargo van was bought at Jenior Ford in Randolph, Ohio. All it had in it was a plastic cargo seat when it was delivered to D&S Custom Van in Cleveland, Ohio, where the complete conversion was built with a tufted interior and a wood-grain ceiling. The adaptive equipment was installed by MC Mobility in Mentor, Ohio and received a Braun reverse-swing lift upgrade in 1986. During its 42 years, this van has only seen recreational use.
