Far fewer in this color combination. You are looking at one of the finest frame-on restorations ever done on a classic car. You would be hard pressed to find another as good a condition as this motor car. She is literally one of the very best! In 1960 Chrysler proudly displayed their new slogan in the original brochure for this motor car which was… "The car of your life, for the time of your life”. You cannot drive down the road without all heads turning, people waving and multiple thumbs up signs as just about everyone stops to stare and appreciate one of Chrysler's most spectacular motor cars that appears to be ready to launch into the air at any moment. This very rare motor car was being restored to show. However, circumstances have since changed and due to personal illness this beautiful motor car will not be able to go and win any awards at classic car shows. If you ever wanted a spectacular looking motor car that could also be a driver not just a trailer queen, this may very well be the classic car for you.

This car has only travelled 53,910 original miles following a thoroughly exhaustive, detailed, body-on-chassis 6 month restoration which was completed in early November of 2019. Great meticulous attention to detail has left no stone unturned in the quest to bring this classic car back to jaw dropping showroom condition, all the while being mindful to maintain the accuracy and authenticity of one of Chrysler's roll out of their "top of the line" motor cars in 1960. Chrysler's lineup for 1960 had some of the wildest fins, longest lines and most avant garde interiors of all time. Virgil Exner's “Forward look” cars were taken one step further after every other automaker had toned down their lines. The highly lauded and justifiably famous automatic push button three speed Torque-Flite transmission shifts gears with total silence and is imperceptible smooth as it transmits the enormous torque potential of the 383 cubic inch Wedge engine. This is the most desirable of 1950's-60's American automobiles possessing the most unique body styles along with exterior & interior colour combination from the MoPar years of the rarest of rare cars and the best of best Chrysler had to offer at the time. This gorgeous automobile sometimes considered a rolling piece of art is ready to be enjoyed with pride. She commands attention and this is a very rare opportunity to own and enjoy an extremely rare example of a stunningly designed beautiful classic motor car. She has been thoroughly road tested and passed all stages with flying colors. All body panel gaps, fit and finish are perfect. The badges, emblems and door handles are all in excellent condition. The grill badge in particular is factory original white/black (not red/black) which is to factory specs on this model Saratoga. The factory correct color scheme of Oyster white multi-layered acrylic lacquer paint has been meticulously and thoroughly hand rubbed resulting in the most exciting combination offered for 1960 Chryslers consisting of beautiful shimmering light & dark blue interior seats, door panels, armrests. This is all set off with spectacularly contrasting new blue cut-pile carpet, seats, a new softly padded dashboard together with new di-electrically embossed silver “record groove” mylar door panel inserts. The extieror paint finish is original and although excellent and quite beautiful in it's mirror-like, glass smooth as well as it's deep finish it isn't Concours perfect.
