Points of interest
The Chrysler Airflow was introduced in 1934, and models were built through 1937. Its all-modern design used a steel unibody on frame construction. The 323 cubic-inch straight-eight was placed over the front axle. The back seat sat in front of the rear axle. The resulting ride was better balanced and more comfortable than its competitors. Its streamlined styling was a glimpse into the future of all cars.
The 1934 Airflow set a total of 72 stockcar speed records at the Salt Flats in Utah. The Airflow was produced for only 4 short years. Although over 6,275 of this particular model were produced, only 75 of the 1936 Airflow C-10's are registered in the roster of the Airflow Club of America. This is a fine example of auto history and is ready to cruise at 70+ mph all day long. Buy a piece of history.
