Vintage Cars
The vintage car era in America consists of the manufacturing period between the end of World War One (1919) and 1930. This era was marked by a significant increase in comfort, convenience and practicality as the car went from novelty item to commonplace. As more roads were paved over, car manufacturers didn't have to worry about designing vehicles for rugged terrain and instead could focus on making cars more suitable for driving by adding heat, radios and power steering. Typified by the Ford Model A and Model T, the vintage car era also saw the formation of the Chrysler Corporation as well as the development of Hudson.
