Heidrick Ag History Center: The Heidrick Ag History Center Agricultural Museum is located in Woodland, California, a few miles northwest of Sacramento. The museum specializes in agricultural equipment of all types but has an exhibit of classic hot rods and hosts car shows and other vehicle events.

Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum: The Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum is located in Vista, California, between Los Angeles and San Diego. The museum features a wide variety of operational gas and steam engines and some of the antique vehicle they were used in. They also have a weaving exhibit, a blacksmith shop and an n'scale model railroad display.

Automobile Driving Museum: The Automobile Driving Museum, located in El Segundo, California, just a few miles south of Los Angeles, is all about giving patrons the experience of antique, vintage and classic cars by actually taking visitors for rides. They have a wonderful display that features FDR's 1932 Plymouth Brewster Town Car.

Blackhawk Automotive Museum: The Blackhawk Automotive Museum is located in Danville, northern California, and has a revolving display of international automobile treasures and a research library. Call in advance to find out what is on display.

California Automobile Museum: The California Automobile Museum is located in Sacramento, California, and features a revolving exhibit of classic cars. They also take vehicles on consignment for sale and rent the facility for special events.

Deer Park Vintage Winery: The Deer Park Vintage Winery is also a Car Museum, located in Escondido, California, between Los Angeles and San Diego. They have hundreds of antique and vintage vehicles and an impressive collection of automobile memorabilia.

J.A. Cooley Museum: The J.A. Cooley Museum is located in San Diego, California, and features a wide range of collections gathered by Jim and Carmen Cooley. The collections includes trains, clocks, cameras and automobiles. Call if you have a special interest.

Marconi Automotive Museum: The Marconi Automotive Museum was opened in 1994 by Dick Marconi and is located in Tustin, California, near Santa Ana. the collection includes a wide variety of classic cars and indy cars and profits go to a foundation that helps at risk kids.

Metropolitan Pitstop Museum: The Metropolitan Pitstop Museum is located in North Hollywood, California, and is all about the Nash Metropolitan automobile. They also specialize in restoring Metropolitan automobiles and have an excellent parts department.

Motte Historical Museum: The Motte Historical Museum is located in Menifee, California, in the desert south of Riverside. John and Evelyn Motte founded the museum to display the heritage of the Perris Valley farming community. The display includes dozens of antique and vintage automobiles.

Motor Transport Museum: The Motor Transport Museum is located in Campo, California, east of San Diego, near the Mexican boarder. The museum has an eclectic collection of equipment and over 200 vehicles in various states of repair. They are all about the history of the area and have a research library.

Mullin Automotive Museum: The Mullin Automotive Museum is located in Oxnard, California, just north of Los Angeles, and is dedicated to French-made vehicles. The display is currently all about the Bugatti but there are other antique, vintage and classic vehicles on display so call for more information.

Murphy Auto Museum: The Murphy Auto Museum is located in Oxnard, California, just north of Los Angeles, and features a collection of over 60 vintage and classic cars. They also have one of the world's largest H/O scale train layouts and host groups for special events.

NHRA Motorsports Museum: The Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum is located in Pomona, California, just east of Los Angeles, and is all about the National Hot Rod Association. It is operated by the Automobile Club of Southern California and their mission is to preserve the history of how vehicle speed influenced the California lifestyle.

Nethercutt Collection: The Nethercutt Collection is located Sylmar, California, just north of Los Angeles, and features 0ver 250 American and foreign antique, vintage and classic cars that range from 1898 to 1997. They also have collections of musical instruments and furniture. If you are in L.A. this museum is a must!

Petersen Museum: The Petersen Museum is located in Los Angeles, California, and features a display of over 150 antique, vintage and classic cars, with another 150 cars under restoration at any one time. This is another wonderful Los Angeles automobile museum.

San Diego Automotive Museum: The San Diego Automotive Museum is located in San Diego, California, and features a revolving exhibit of automobiles and related memorabilia. They also rent out the facility for private parties.

Toyota U.S.A. Museum: The Toyota U.S.A. Museum is a private museum in the Los Angeles area that holds a collection of Toyota vehicles. It is owned and operated by Toyota and is open by special arrangement.
