1981 ford fairmont woody wagon
Rare Woody-Style Wagon -
All Original Classic 1981 Ford Fairmont Futura
Squire Wagon needs a good home with a serious
collector who will give it some TLC instead of
treating it like any other old car and "finishing
it off". It really is in exceptional condition.
Second-owner, garage-kept, excellent vinyl/
leatherette upholstery. Original carpet & OEM
front mats w/custom mats in rear passenger area.
3.3 liter, 6-cylinder, automatic transmission;
127,000 miles; uses/loses less than half a quart
between 2000-mile-interval oil&filter changes.
It is NOT "mint" or "cherry" condition but WAY
above ordinary used car descriptions of "average".
Could be a really neat, nostalgic "show car" with
a little tedious-but-not-hard work.
Well-maintained w/oem replacement components when
needed. (Only non-oem part is a custom voltage
regulator which connects to original wiring
harness and can be easily replaced if desired.)
Has original owner's manual & manufacturer's
official vacuum & electrical manual plus third-
party general service/repair manual. Original
factory/dealer roof/luggage/cargo rack.
Slight "crazing" of Woodgrain Trim on rear liftgate,
3 little scuffs on right rear fender,
minor "bruise" on each bumper; 3 very small
treated-but-not-refinished rust spots on right
rear wheel-well and 1 under right rear window.
Right-front fender was apparently replaced many
years ago and is beginning to show a bit of shading
difference in woodgrain trim in certain lighting.
Would LIKE to TRADE FOR '97 Toyota RAV4
5-speed 4-cylinder - preferably Silver-Gray -
but would CONSIDER '96-2000 - with or without
engine depending on color and body condition.
