    Description
Just a few notes on the truck. I bought this for my wife. We both had I replaced the upper and lower hoses, flushed the radiator and block, put on a new Flex-a-lite fan. Rebuilt the carb. Removed, cleaned and sealed the gas tank. Replaced all the fuel hoses and reconnected the two saddle tanks. I replaced the valve cover gaskets, the oil pressure (light) switch. Rewired the electrics on the engine to get all the gauges working. New battery and battery cables. I replaced the starter. I had the exhaust manifolds machined and replaced the gaskets. I recovered the seat. I put in a new headliner. I got the horn working properly and also put in an Ooohga horn. Yeah, the neighbors love that one. :D I sorted out all the lights and got them all working properly. I had to wire in a new license plate light. I put in a new speedometer cable. We started affectionately calling her Grace because she has aged gracefully. Granted, the old truck is 45 years old but is in really good shape for her age. As expected, she's not perfect. She has a Dana 60 rear axle and a T18 Ford trans with Granny gear. She could probably use a new set of brake shoes in the front in the near future. She's a "Custom Cab" and came factory with additional guages. I have them all hooked up with the exception of the "AMP Meter". I just haven't gotten around to buying the wires. You need to use some pretty heavy cable on that one. I just installed a new CD/MP3/USB stereo. I didn't have the heart to cut on her pristine dash, so I built a panel to mount it in the glove box. It has a remote which makes it easier to operate going down the road. There is a crack in the windshield.
I will consider trading for Jeep Cherokee Sport, Toyota Land Cruiser, Land Rover Discovery, Toyota 4 Runner... Or let me know what you have.
