    Description
1966 Buick Riviera. This car came to me awhile ago with a blown head gasket and the last owner wanted to pull the 425 Nail head Engine out and put another one in that was built for a boat. Well after that was done and that Engine lost a piston after 30secs.of running and the owner could not get his Money back from the person he got it from in L.A., his wife said no more of this and the owner left the car with me. Thay both had had enough of that type of crap. The engine I took out in the first place only had a Blown Head Gasket. So I took that Engine apart to see how everything was and found out that Engine was all stock and nothing was wrong with it that I could see.The crank is standard along with the Piston Bore.It looked like the Engine has never been Machined or much of anything else done to it. All the parts in the Engine look good. Pistons,Rods,Crank,Block ,heads and all looks like it could just be cleaned up and put back togeather with new Rings,Bearings, gaskets and the like after Honing, maybe polish the crank some and heads looked at and or a valve job as far as I can tell.So what I have here in my shop is a completely Blacked out 66 Buick Riv. with the Engine out and ready to put back together and back in the car if you like for a price or you can do all of that yourself so you know all is good and that is what I think would be the best thing to do is to let the new owner do the engine thing for them selves..The trans is original and it has A/C and Power windows and all looks original to me.The rims look original and all the interior does too.The whole car has been painted Black. The chrome and all the trim that is all there was painted also. The head lights hide away in the grill and it looks like it just has a grill all the way across the front and no lights show at all and that is really cool.It has the original radio and steering wheel and all dash gages and seats front and rear all look like the original Bucket seats and the original set covers too. Before this car came into my shop the last owner was out driving this car and there was nothing much wrong that he ever talked about not working.I put a Battery in the car last week to get the power window down on the driver's side and it worked fine.I'm going to put the battery back and see how much does work inside the car so I can tell anyone that is asking about this if everything works or not and what doesn't work if anything. The man who owned this car before I had nothing but pride and Love for this car and hated to give her up ,But the wife said no more money into cars and here it sits waiting for you to put this beauty back where it belongs. Back on the road. Now I can't know how much of this car will need as far as other things done to her because I can't drive her at this time. so all I'm going to say is that the Black paint has some chips in places and some scratches on the left finder from a swivel chair that someone rubbed up against the fender with one day a will ago and the paint job was done in L.A. at a custom shop. I'm not going to say the trans works good because I don't know if it still does but I can tell you this like I said before the car was running and moving down the road the first time I saw her,so I would think that all that was working before still is and the last owner said nothing about something not working at all.The car also has a stereo under the ash tray and speakers in the rear deck. I will try and find out how much works this coming week and if you would like to call me my number is 928-704-0070 and I'll do what I can to find out what does and doesn't work in the car.The Car has a clear Arizona title, there is no brand on it ( ie, salvage, restored salvage etc ) ( MORE INFO. ) (There are NO dents and NO rust anywhere that I can see and the car is all there and it has never been in a salvage yard or had any paper work to show that.If anyone would like the Engine put back togeather and if doing that would sale this car AT A PRICE OF $4,500.00 Total just let me know and we can talk and git this car up and running if that would be better for you all. I have lowerd the price from $4000.00 to $3000.00for now for this car because it seems like you all don't like that it is not up and running. Well if that is true then maybe a lower price will make you all happyer about this sale.) (Just think of BATMAN or DARTH VADER and you'll git an idea of how COOL this car looks up close.) thanks bud
