The only history we know is that the previous owner did the chrome work and he bought it from someone who did the body restoration. Previous owner sold it because his kids were starting college. Father-in-law bought it 2 years ago. Car is in excellent condition. Brakes are being worked on now (Dec.15th) as the master cylinder has gone out. Revised 1/04/2010: Brakes are done with new master cylinder. A new development, the speedometer makes weird noises especially as the speed changes, red pointer flipped out. Now no indication of speed. Will try to fix that but no guarantees. Yes, there is a slight rip in the drivers side of the seat due to the most use. Only rip that I know of. Can be viewed in the drivers side photo. Horn works, Chieftain ornament does not light, maybe a bulb. It has a little over 45,000 miles on it.
