It is a 2-door hardtop. The 322 c.i. engine (original) was completely professionally rebuilt 4 summers ago with all new internal parts except crank. It is bored .30 over with one new sleeve. The transmission was completely rebuilt as well the following summer at Kalamazoo transmission. I have more than $3,500 in parts alone in these two items. There is a $500 front end rebuild kit still in a box as well. The car as it sets is 99% complete, just in many pieces and boxes. It is very solid with the only visible holes in the rocker panels and the small ones in the floor boards under the drivers feet. There has been some body work done, and a complete paint job, since 1956 sometime(?). New tires in 1997 with about 100 feet on them (never driven after tires installed). I would prefer cash, but am willing to look at a trade for a "driver". Asking $6,500 cash or will consider trade value of $10,000. I do have a lot of pictures and a video tape I could copy of some of the process of tearing it down. I can meet anyone in Sturgis, Michigan most anytime if they would like to see it in person. Seriously interested people only... I would also be happy to e-mail more pictures.
