1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SL roadster for sale in the highly desirable and striking color combination of original factory 'Pewter/Silver' clear coat paint with pin stripes, palomino leather interior, dark brown soft top, matching color hard top and factory chromed alloy wheels! The car's factory options include: automatic transmission with torque converter, power assisted steering, cruise control, electric window lifts, electrically heated rear window on hard top, fully independent suspension, power assisted four wheel disc brakes, anti-lock braking system, limited slip differential, full leather upholstery, automatic antenna, Halogen fog lamps, automatic air conditioning with climate control and central locking. Please note that the car has an after market cassette/radio and a CD changer in the trunk. The original factory color paint is in absolutely exceptional condition with only very minor imperfections only noticeable upon close inspection! The original palomino leather seats are in absolutely beautiful condition with virtually no signs of any wear as is the original leather dashboard and wood veneer interior- obviously always garaged from the California sun! The car has it's original factory 'German canvas' factory dark brown soft top which is also in excellent condition with no rips or tears and with a very clear rear plastic window and the car has it's original and also factory matching color hard top. The car drives exactly like such a well maintained and serviced Mercedes should and must be seen and driven to be truly appreciated! The engine is extremely strong with no noticeable oil leaks and the temperature always remains cool. All the options are working as they should including the A/C. The car has a recent California smog certificate. Please note the CARFAX report in 1999 reports an "inconsistent odometer reading" following a smog inspection; but upon investigation of the CARFAX report, this is a most obvious clerical error either by CARFAX or the smog station, as according to CARFAX the mileage is absolutely consistent through all the years prior to 1999 and up to the present time. The mileage in 9/1998 was 66,265 miles and one year later in 8/1999 should have read 77,066 miles but was obviously incorrectly read as 177,066 miles.
