This truck has been used as a hay hauler since purchased by me in 2003. I quit hauling hay a few years ago and the truck has not been used since then. It was a Fire Department water transfer truck prior to my purchase in 2003. You can still see the Fire Department logo on the doors and the mileage is correct at 14,XXX original miles. It will need some body work due to some rust in the passenger side cab corner and driver side rocker step panel. These patch panels are available online. The brakes will also need some attention as I noticed fluid loss and had to pump the brakes.I have chosen not to do any of this to keep the truck as original as possible. My plans were to either restore the truck to original or modify it, but now I have decided to let a new owner do with it what they please. My most recent idea was to swap bodies with a late model one ton truck or replace the inline six with Cadillac power. These truck are very rare and should be a great project vehicle. I hate to sell, but my loss is your gain. May consider a trade for a 28' enclosed car trailer but open to offers.
