Van has an American Fire Appartus Company Battlecreek, Michigan seal. 1993 restoration includes 12-volt system; 4 extra gauges including fuel, oil, electric and water; Various custom wood work including wormy chestnut overhead dash and 6 wormy chestnut interior rails for headliner; Custom checkerplate; Running boards and rear bumper extra. Also contains a 25-gallon heavy duty fuel tank. In the last few years, this truck has been a "freedom of speech" vehicle outside my uncle's house. It is a unique and a great classic vehicle that needs some restoration work. It obviously needs a paint job and has some rust areas around the vehicle due to the snow out here in Ohio. To the best of my knowledge this vehicle is not posted anywhere. In 1945, Chevy panel trucks were not made due to the war. In 1946 there were roughly only 100 trucks produced.
