The 220S, also know as a "ponton" was one of Mercedes most successful post-war models. This car runs very well and has had a lot of recent maintenance, Radiator drained and re-filled w/MB coolant, Oil and filter changed, lots of brake work completed, transmission drained and re-filled (with proper ATF), third member fluid changed. The car has absolutely no rot, no accident damage nor is it missing any chrome/stainless steel bits. A previous owner installed a radio but not into the dash. The only problem with the install is they did cut the leather door skins to fit speakers. I have the cut out pieces. The interior of this car is white leather, not typical MB-Tex. It is in good condition, no rips or tears. The original paint while good from a few feet away is a little water-spotted. I am actually afraid to do much to fix this as I don't really know what I'm doing. The car will come with assorted spares and the original shop manuals, the blue ones IN PRINT! I also have the original owners manual and a couple of original keys. This is a very nice old Ponton. At 66K miles it has a long way to go. Surprisingly easy to care for and parts are not too hard to come by. I'm hoping this will go to a good home where it can be appreciated properly.
