As a third owner of this one-of-a-kind Arizona show cardaily driver VW Beetle Convertible Baja, it’s definitely a head turner-fun to drive unique car! According to the previous owner who did most of the rebuilding, this vehicle is consistent show winner, first best engine, second best overall at the Las Vegas “VW Bugorama”. Have complete car history (photos and receipts) from purchase in Germany to date. Never taken off road, always trailered to shows by the previous owner. 48,250 original miles, only about 580 miles on rebuilt motor. This vehicle is driven on weekend to cruise in. It is currently registered as Antique Vehicle in Virginia. Prior to Virginia, this vehicle lived all its life in Arizona from Germany.
Motor: Custom-rebuilt 1600cc motor. The motor does not smoke nor run hot nor burn oil. This motor has a lot of high dollar billet and chrome parts! Chrome parts; intakeair cleanerpulleysalternatordoghousevalve coversexhaust systemetc. Recently tuned-up.
Exhaust systems: Chrome pipes.
Cooling System: Air cool system.
Transmission: Manual, 4-speed with EMPI shifter. No slippage, tight!
Suspension: IRS, Front end-new ball joints, tie rods, boots, stabilizer, etc. 4 lug drum brakes Tight steering system. Rear end- stock, 4 lug drum brakes with new cylinders, pads, springs, cables, hoses, with new brakes pads on both front and rear brakes.
Exterior: Body is straight and very clean and professionally painted in a custom yellow color. It comes with a bikini soft top. Endless possibilities, take off fenders for roadsterrat rod look. All lights are in working order. All doorshood open and shut good.
Interior: Bucket seats were professionally rebuilt in awesome redyellow, clothvinyl that are very comfortable. The dash, instrument panel are in working condition. The cab has an EMPI gas pedalauto meter tachbillet shifter armAM-FM CD player. No ACHeat.
Additional Features: The car rides on 15x8 steel wheels with 19565R15 radial tires (front) and 31x65xR15 all terrain tires (rear) in good condition.
