California Highway Patrol Classic Cruiser Plymouth for sale. This 1989 vehicle was used in the O.J. Simpson car chase on the '405' in Los Angeles on June 17, 1994. Later on it was used in three movie productions in Hollywood. It has been replicated in Oklahoma to CHP standards even though it was an L.A. county Sheriff's car in the chase. 'OJ Chaser' has a 318 engine with 360 heads, 3-speed automatic transmission, front torsion bar and rear leaf spring suspension with sway bars, black slotted 15X7 inch steel wheels with high-speed police radials, 6 antennas, new CHP glossy black and white clearcoat paint scheme with proper roof numbers, all CHP decals and emergency equipment including working federal horn-siren and sound option unit, all working emergency lights includes package tray amber and red alternating lights - red and blue grill alternating lights - alternating flashing headlights and tail lights - CB and PA - working radar on dash, working electric shotgun rack -both chp flat-black spotlights with one being a flashing red spot controlled by the chp console and the other hand controlled white spotlight - working lightbar on roof has custom made cover. Other chp emergency equipment is in the trunk with same size wheel and police radial spare and jack, magnetic movie car cover signs for doors and trunk lettering while driving in some states, CHP duffle bag, road triangles, blanket, tow rope, battery cables, first aid kit and hollywood scene sign used in the movie productions. Car has a new heavy duty battery, new front end alignment, new heavy duty brakes, recent tuneup, carb rebuilt and many other mechanical updates. In August '08 a CHP unit almost identical to this one, but not as loaded, sold for $43,000 at the Monterey Auction in California... OJ Chaser has already won both shows it has entered and is priced for sale for much less then the auction unit. This would be a great parade or show car for any family or organization to truly enjoy.
