Excellent cruiser at 20 mpg! It has vintage air , power brakes,New leather and vinyl upholstery, New beige cloth top with new lines pump and cylinders. All stainless was reconditioned and polished, all chrome rechromed, and trunk upholstered .There was a lot of detail in this restoration. It has a 350 Ram Jet engine, 700R4 transmission, camaro rear end 3:08 gear .I do have a pontiac motor if buyer prefers to have a pontiac engine.It is not the original engine out of the 55 . I think it was out of a 66 .However , for power, cruising and mpg we chose the 350. We have taken this car cruising to a couple of car shows where we also took our 55 chevy convertible.You would be amazed that it actually draws as much attention if not MORE than the 55 chevy convertible that would retail at $100,000 or more in todays market. The value on the Pontiac Star Chief convertible has risen steadily over the last couple of years and is expected to continue to rise .These cars could easily climb to a selling the prices of the 55 or 57 chevy convertibles in the years to come.
