Durant Logo Billy Durant had a grudge against General Motors and he intended to show them how to build automobiles. His early models had a four cylinder engine with all steel bodies. Production stopped for 1926 and 1927 for redesigning and retooling but it wasn't enough and by 1932 he was broke and out of business. | ||
