1929 American LaFrance Triple Combinatio

This is a 1929 ALF triple combination pumper #L351. Lafrance documentation shows only 14 were built. The bell, spotlight, and ladders are original equipment. She came with the original build specifications which is incredibly rare. Restored and equipped to original specs. . Not one bolt was left unturned. She is a driver. Owner averages approx. 1000 miles/year. The speedometer does not work. The speedometer drive does not work because I have not found the parts so far. Her gold leafing was done in the old style with shading of the flourishes being done with asphaltum. She is nickel plated per specs except the rear spots which are chrome (by specs). Her engine is a Buda, roughly 600 ci and 102 hp. She is a 600 gal/min pumper with a 40 gal Champion chemical tank. The pump is rebuilt, but I do not pump her. We cruise at 37 mph. Owner has hundreds of photos of the restoration. All the work except some machining and the engine rebuild was performed by him. Selling her because he has 2 other fire engines to restore. I am asking $55,000 cash. Truck is located in Chesapeake, VA.
