1979 Triumph Spitfire 1500

76,500 original miles (but will increase slightly as I sparingly drive it before fall storage).

Originally a California import car, then in the 1990’s it found its way into Canada. Brought back to the States in 2015 and wound up locally in Northwestern Pennsylvania. I purchased it this past spring (April 2017) from the gentlemen who brought it back into the states. Between the Canadian owner and the owner I bought it from many parts were replaced and upgrades made. I have also replaced a few maintenance items.
Many, many, many new parts and upgrades.

All California smog components removed by previous owner, new clutch, new front suspension, new aluminum three core radiator with electric fan, Weber carburetor and intake manifold, exhaust manifold and monza exhaust system, new still in box tonneau cover, new convertible top, new interior door panels, new seat upholstery, new seat belts, new aftermarket stereo and custom speaker box behind seats, dealer installed (I believe) luggage rack, complete new rear brakes, wheel cylinders, hoses and hardware, new rear leaf spring, new tires and good spare. All gauges, lights, signals, hazards work as they should, new battery, indoor car cover, and new outdoor car cover.
I’ve owned this car since April 2017 and have put about $1,500 into it. Between that and what the previous owners have done the car should be repair free for years to come other than normal maintenance items.

I have a stack of receipts from the Canadian owner and the owner I bought the car from, plus my own. Anyone seriously interested can look through them.

Reason I am selling the spit is that I have had the opportunity to purchase a car from a friend that has decided to it sell after many years of ownership and I just could not pass it up.
