1957 American LaFrance Engine

1957 American LaFrance Engine. 60 year old fire engine. 6 cylinder Continental Big-Six engine with redundant starters and ignition. Repainted in 2008 with many chrome accessories. I purchased from Benton Township in northeast Indiana in 2003. Model number: N206
THE GOOD--over 1000 ft. of 2 -1/2" hose and 150 ft. of 1- 1/2" hose/30 ft. extension ladder and 10 ft. roof ladder/8 ft. and 6 ft. pike poles/2 axes/misc. nozzles and hydrant tools/2 hard suction lines 10 ft. each/cheese grater/2 electric hose reels with 50 ft. of rubber hose on each/4 Koehler flashlights (do not work)/ working Federal siren/ALF chrome bell with eagle standard on top/roof working dome red revolving light/2 searchlights /ALF extinguisher/oak hose bed/2 hose bed baffles. Brakes just redone last week/ trans rebuilt in 2007
THE BAD--leak in gas-fill neck/drivers side has no window crank mechanism/carburetor needs to be rebuilt.
Currently in a warehouse in Plainfield, IL. Would have to be towed or if buyer is in Chicago area; arrangements could be made to store at current location while repairs are made.
