Plymouth truck History: The Plymouth line of vehicles began as a Chrysler Corporation brand in 1928 and eventually became DaimlerChrysler products in 2001. A variety of Plymouth trucks and vans were produced during that time but most were sold as Chryslers. The Plymouth factory also provided components for Chrysler's Fargo lineup and briefly sold a PT50 commercial line of trucks in 1937.
