1930 Chevrolet Universal AD [Canopy Express] PROJECT
Unfortunately I am having to offer up For Sale my 1930 Chevrolet AD Universal - Canopy Express Truck (Huckster) PROJECT. This is a Great Solid Truck with most all the Components Included and rebuilt/ restored. Wish I could complete it and keep it, however life Happens. All components to date that have been restored have been done so to the highest Quality and Standard in a Reputable Antique Restoration Shop with Receipts and Paperwork. I have all the parts tagged, sorted, and inventoried.
Drivetrain: Engine Rebuilt, Transmission Rebuilt, Carburetor Rebuilt. Fuel Tank Clean Prepped and Primed. Original Honeycomb Radiator and Shell Included.
Body: All New Wood, including Bed Wood (Solid Oak Bed w/ Metal Band Strips). Canopy is COMPLETELY New and IMMACULANT, must see to Truly Appreciate. Fenders Solid and Primed, front have first coat paint, Hood and Cowl Primed and first coat paint.
Electrical: Have 3 Generators on Hand, 3 Starters, Complete Dash Gauges and Ignition Cable/ Switch included, may need rebuild, Needs Complete Wire harness.
I am currently in the process of Stripping the Frame for Prime and Paint. Truck is currently Disassembled down to frame. Have tons more pictures, email for pictures.. Truck is currently in pieces and diassambled.
I know that I will not get out of it what I have into it to date, I have invoices for 42k in work from the Restoration Shop, so I Am willing to sacrifice and sell for $10,250, WAY LESS than what I have invested in it !! Great Project for anyone to take over and Finish !!

They are as is how is, if it needs to be rebuilt or redone, buyer assumes all risks and cost in those regards. I will not be held responsible for anything in regards to the truck, as well as damage from shipping. I will do my best to pack up and secure all items for transport. Figure i could attache transmission to engine, bolt it in frame, then rebolt panels back to frame, secure roof on top (installed) and then box up and crate all misc pieces and load in bed of truck and strap down so that it could possibly be transported as a rolling chasis, non-operational. No power, no brakes, etc... Rember it is a PROJECT under Works !!
