Hi all,
I have a 1977 Mercedes Benz SEL 450 6.9 in immaculate condition! The car has ONLY 29k original miles! In all my research I haven't found any other 6.9 with nearly this low milage. The original sticker price on this car in 1977 was $48k! This is a very rare car, only 486 were manufactured this year. The car has been garage kept its entire life and there is no rust. This was the most innovative car of its time. It comes with a factory stock moonroof, cruise control, and much more, even a first aid kit in the back! The car is originally from Florida and has been garage kept and passed down through the generations. The car drives perfectly, looks amazing, and has tear free interior. Created at the Stutgartt factory by shoehorning a 6,900 cc quad-cam V8 into the engine compartment of a 116 model Mercedes that normally held the 4.5 liter power plant resulted in the "world's fastest luxury sedan". Factory figures specified zero to sixty in less than 6.5 seconds and a top speed of over 140 MPH. That's Porsche Turbo fast! They are impossible to tell from the outside from a regular 450 SEL except by the discreet "6.9" badge on the right trunk lid (and many owners removed them to avoid suspicious glances from the law).
