This 1963 Jaguar Mark II 3.8 Saloon is a solid and very original car that was given new cosmetics about 15 years ago. Since that time, it has been annually maintained by a noted Jaguar restoration facility and has been recently serviced with a fresh tune up, rebuilt brakes, electrical, etc. Yesterday, we took it out on the highway and it easily climbed up to 90 miles per hour and we were cruising it at 70-80 mph for quite some time. This has to be one of the tightest old cars I have been in. No squeaks, no rattles, light and precise steering, brakes that will put you through the windshield, etc. etc. The paint is the correct shade of British Racing green which looks black in the photos and is excellent throughout. The tan leather interior including the door panels, carpets, headliner, etc is like new. The wood dash board has been professionally restored and recently refinished. The glass is like new. The engine bay is clean and the chassis is largely original. The trunk pans are excellent including the spare tire well and the car has its original jack, tool kit, manual, etc. The door, hood and trunk fit is excellent and the body is straight from all angles. It has the desirable four speed transmission with overdrive, five chrome wire wheels with new tires, driving lights, accessory steering wheels, a modern CD player (hidden in the trunk), and shows about 86,000 miles which are likely to be original.
