    Description

Must sell! '49 Chevrolet 4400 flat bed truck. Roughly 90% restored. This truck runs but is not made for long distances due to the low gear ratio. Top speed is close to 40-45 mph.
We are the 2nd owners believe it or not. We purchased it from a small local lumber yard who bought it brand new in 1948 and used it for deliveries back in it's day. Restoration was done roughly 15 years ago. Underbody is all solid, bed and bed rail wood has been replaced but will need refinished. Tires were replaced new at the time of restoration. Cab is solid and the interior upholstery has been replaced but still needs some finishing trim pieces. Dash is all original but has new gauges. Engine is original and runs(odometer has 95 miles on it) so I cannot attest that these are actual miles. Transmission is manual 4 speed, shifts smoothly and runs great. Needs a little TLC to be a daily runner but always starts. Paint and finish is in great shape.
We have almost $20,000 invested in this restoration and would like to pass it along to someone who will take good care of it and finish the restoration.
