Description

1964 Plymouth Sport Fury, 2-door Hardtop

Here is your chance to own a very unique car. This was a
low-numbers automobile with a low survivor rate.

Considered to be the "Last of the red hot Fury's"
it was the third design of Plymouth's B-bodies
after they were mistakenly downsized in 1962.

The third time was a charm because many consider this
to be one of the best looking Plymouths of all time!

Sport Fury was the very top of the line for Plymouth in 1964.
This mid-size car with it's large engine options was an early muscle car.

With it's sleek, tapered body lines and angled, side "spear" trim
the Sport Furys appeared to rearing back to take off.

The new for '64 inverted "C" pillars along with the wrap-around back
window made the two-door hardtops look like convertibles.

Red, white and blue emblems appearing on the hood ornament,
the knock-off spinner wheel covers and on the rear deck
add to it's sporty look.

In the interior, a wide, ribbed aluminum dash holds four round gauges.
There is a center console with storage bin with the shifter on the floor.

Contrasting two-tone, button tufted door panels and bucket seats
complete the Fury's cockpit. The back bench seat was designed
to look like bucket seats and are lit by the large twin "courtesy lights"
that are mounted in the narrowest part of the "C" pillar.

Under the hood is a big block 383 cubic inch engine with
330 horsepower and a four barrel carburetor.
Dual Exhaust and Sure-Grip Differential.
