1932 Ford V8 Flathead Roadster For Sale
|
This 1932 Ford highboy roadster was built in about 1995 and has been consistently maintained and upgraded as needed. It was built to very high standards to enable it to be driven anywhere with confidence and built to accurately resemble a period and traditional hotrod roadster or dry lakes-style race car from the 1940s or 1950s. The body is a new Gibbon (fiberglass) that has been expertly finnished in mirror black enamel with traditional red \"tuck and roll\" upholstery and a modified 1940 Ford dashboard and instruments. The frame has been expertly boxed in for strength. The engine is a 1949 Mercury Flathead V8 that has been expertly built. It is bored .030 over, has a Isky camshaft and has been fitted with new Offy heads and a Thickston dual intake manifold. The chassis was assembled with a desirable Quickchange rear end, 1940 Ford front and rear ends with hydraulic brakes, etc. The fit and finnish on this car is excellent and the car goes down the road with a strong and powerful engine, quick steering, a smooth and quiet transmission, excellent brakes, etc. The roadster is ready to use and enjoy and would be a great candidate for vintage racing, long distance driving or traditional hot rodding events. Selling for less than the build price at 36,000.00 USD Please call 734-730-4274 or email: motoringicons@hotmail.com for more information.
