    Description

I went through hell and hot water to make sure I bought n.o.s. or really good used ford parts. I spent around 2 years to find the right seatbelts, then I had to give around $500.00 for them. Same way with the 4-speed, I just happened to find it at a swap meet in ohio. I had the guys take off the top cover & everything looked new. They told me that it came out of his wrecked boss 302. It was very expensive also. When I got the car it had some makeshift c-6 in it. The shifter had just been cut in,poorly. I bought a new flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing all extra heavy duty. I removed the engine and found the vin on the back side. I've been told that this is quite unusual, mostly only on special engines. I then stripped the whole engine compartment to bare metal. Then gave it 3 coats of primer, Then 3 coats of semi gloss black. Before that I had a guy replace the battery box and inner fender. It wasn't real bad but I bought the new part and replaced it.

All the engine needed was a little freshening up,it only has around 500 miles on it. It had a fairly good sized cam in it so I left it alone. It is a crane fireball, but we couldn't read the part number. A double roller timing chain. I found a ford correct shaker assembly. I think they are going for around $1500.00 now. I found a ford hood tack,it worked fine til this year. It just quit. I didn't check it out much, so it might be something simple. I also replaced the radiator with the correct one.

Next was all interior, correct hurst shifter, with set screw knob. The right console, good used seat covers. Fold down seat. Custom auto sound cd player with a 6 cd changer with small amp in the trunk.
Correct louvers, front and rear spoilers. Donut tire and inflater bottle. I swapped out the 3:00 open for a traction lok 3:50. New carpet & head liner. I added Ford power steering.
