This '69 Buick Electra 225 Convertible is a gorgeous example of one of America's most luxurious convertibles. Originating from a North Carolina collection, its second and current owner just completed a total cosmetic and mechanical freshening of this legendary drop top.
Details: Less than 15,000 miles on the restoration completed mid-2009. Totally rust-free! Finished in the classic and desired Signal Red with Red leather interior. NEW convertible top and boot cover; power retractable top mechanism in proper and excellent working condition. All chrome and stainless trim is in very good condition. Professionally rebuilt and numbers matching 430 cu. in. 360 hp engine and drivetrain. NEW starter, alternator, fuel pump, radiator, Optima Yellow Top dry cell battery, complete exhaust system from engine to chrome exhaust tips. Rebuilt original carburetor and AC; with additional cooling fan added – blows ice cold! Rebuilt front suspension and brake system with NEW brake linings and wheel cylinders on all four corners as well as the master cylinder. NEW radial tires and trunk liner. Leather seats, door panels and dash pad were reconditioned and are free of any rips, tears and stains with some expected light patina on the driver's side of the front split seat. NEW carpet throughout. Fitted with every conceivable option including ORIGINAL and working 8-Track tape player and AM radio, power antenna, tilt steering wheel, power top, power steering, power brakes, power windows, air conditioning. All instruments and gauges function properly, with the addition of an aftermarket oil pressure gauge and remote security system. High-end JL Audio stereo Stealthbox system stereo system featuring speaker and sub-woofer enclosures that discretely blends into the interior and trunk areas.
