In the U.S. an antique car usually means a car that is 25 years old or older. The legal definition of the antique vehicle registrations varies widely from state to state. The term antique car includes steam powered vehicles, early handmade cars and mass produced cars.There are also other categories of antique cars such as the brass era, veteran, Edwardian and vintage era.
